Geissele Super Duty Upper Receivers feature a Mil-Spec in-house machined upper receiver hard coat anodized in OD Green (ODG). Geissele believes in engraving top T marks but with no paint, which matches the same style as their rails. This is forged with Type-3 hardcoat anodizing and MIL-SPEC+  military grade upper receiver from Geissele.

Note: Geissele uppers have either a forging mark (keyhole, circle, square) or an engraved “G”. In rare occurrences, they will have both and we will just include these as engraved “G” models.

ODG Geissele Super Charging Handle

The Super Charging Handle (SCH®) 5.56 is 3D machined from a solid block of aircraft grade 7075-T6 aluminum. Its ambidextrous design allows for seamless operation from either side of the weapon. The levers are dual contoured similar to that of the charging handle of an M14, where not only the x-axis but also the y-axis receive radius cuts. The handling surface of the lever is also checkered, adding a textured grip aiding to the use when operating with gloves. The heightened rear lip of the SCH aids in mitigating gas blow back to the shooter when shooting with short barreled and suppressed weapon systems. All parts are then Type 3 Hardcoat anodized.

ODG Geissele Airborne Charging Handle

The Airborne Charging Handle (ACH), was originally developed at the request of an elite organization famous for its expertise in aerial insertion. Now adopted by USASOC and field tested in the most arduous environments,The USASOC ACH now features a roll marked “Geissele Automatics” and the ACH’s NSN number diminishing the amount of laser engraving and reducing its visual signature. Unchanged are the lower profile lever design that reduces chances of snagging on gear. The handling surfaces of the levers are checkered for confident operation while wearing gloves or during engagements in less than optimal weather conditions. The Geissele USASOC ACH features a gas mitigating fence at the rear that aids in redirecting gas blow back when shooting short barreled and suppressed weapon systems. The ambidextrous USASOC ACH is 3D machined from a solid block of aircraft grade 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in durable Type-3 Hardcoat anodized. The USASOC ACH weighs in at 1.42oz.

ANODIZE VARIATIONS & DIFFERENT LIGHT SOURCES

You will notice that some of these will have wildly different shades of colored anodizing, and they look wildly different depending on the light source! Why would we Geissele even consider selling parts like this?  The answer is there is absolutely nothing they can do to make colored anodizing consistent for the superior type of anodize they use. Be unique!
